It was that time again on Tuesday night September 29th @ Legacy HS where we took the time to let those interested neighbors know what was accomplished in 2009, and what we would like to do in 2010. We heard from SBB about our current 2009 budget progress, while the Social and ACC commitees offered some updates regarding the last year and wish lists for future events.

 

Once again the turnout for the annual meeting was less than stellar, but that could also be viewed as a sign of confidence for the current Board. All 5 positions on the HOA Board were voted on again and the current members were overwhelmingly re-elected.

 

2010 Board: Don Ireland, Toby Wingfield, Kevin Konzen, Erik Ferm and Bill Dale

 

Upon the conclusion of the meeting 4 lucky homeowners received a 1 quarter credit for their dues. They were:

 

Steven & Colette Cherry at 3004 Suffolk

Lee & Leslie Schulman at 1301 Tanglewood

Ruby & Martin Neira at 2404 Galway

Josh Beaupre at 1112 Wedgewood

 

Questions were asked and answered at the conclusion of the voting with most of the comments being centered on weeds, weed letters and enforcement. I will promise one thing during this next term. We will continue to address weed issues, but we will look at a more tempered way to manage this neighborhoods expectations without losing focus of the DCC & Rs.

 

One other hot topic centered on the ACC approvals and listings of pre-approved colors for doors and homes. This was a great idea that came from a couple of homeowners and one that will be addressed during our meeting next Month.

 

I really appreciate those that attended the annual meeting and offered their insights either positive or negative. Remember that although this is an annual process, you may address the board at anytime during the year through email or getting on the Monthly agenda.
